Well, here we are, 53 days away from the wedding, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I am thinking of all the little things that need to be done, but unfortunately, cannot do anything until closer to the wedding and until we receive all of our RSVP's.
Right now we are focusing on the Stag n' Doe so that's taking up a lot of time. After all the running around that we did today for the Stag n' Doe, Dave and I looked at eachother and said that thank goodness we are currently unemployed or else we would have a ton of things to do, and not enough time.
11 days until the Stag n' Doe, and although there is a ton a work ahead of us, I am looking forward to seeing the planning come together :). Pictures to follow.

Bridal Shower

Today was my shower, and what a day. I was feeling really excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. I have never been centre of attention like that before, so it made it a little overwhelming for me.
There were 103 people on the guest list and about 70 showed up. I felt so loved that day!!

Engagement Photos
Hello there!!
I haven't done a new post in a while, and what a better topic then Engagement Photos. We are our engagement photos taken on June 13th (the day after my Bridal Shower--I'll post about that one soon too). So, we had a beautiful day weather wise and the photographer (Daniela Foster--www.danielafosterphotography.ca) suggested this location in Burlington, Ontario called Paletta Mansion and OH MY GOD...what a beautiful place. It had everthing from water scenery, greenary and the cement pillars for background. A couple of days after the photo shoot, she sent us some pictures to tease us a little, and they were absolutly gorgeous!! It made me so excited to receive the rest of them.
When we had chose her as our photographer it was a easy decision as she is very passionate about her work, and boy did it show. Now that we have received our pictures, I can't get over them, and how beautiful they are. I am so excited about the day of the wedding, and even more excited for Daniela to be a part of our day by photographing our day!!

Minor Set Back
We have run into a set back, well, not really a set back, not sure what to call it. A month ago today, I lost my job :( but during this time off that I have now, I have been able to do wedding things, which is always good, cause I can do the bigger things that need to get done, and I don't want to be doing all the little stuff as the wedding day gets closer.
I do know one thing for sure, as upset as I was about the wedding, my fiance has been so supportive I don't know what I would do without him :).
When it rains, it poors...
Well, it looks like we have run into another bump in the road. My FH has lost his job...I was in complete shock when he came home. What a year it's been so far. Go figure, the year that we are getting married, all this happens. Now, the plus side of this is that it will only make us stronger, right?

Happy New Year
Happy New Year!!
It's official, and we can now say that we're getting married this year!! It was quite exciting to be able to say that when the clock struck midnight. We rang in the new year with another couple that is also getting married this year, and as we wished eachother happy new year, I mentioned to her that "we're getting married this year!!"
It's almost two years since the planning has started, and it's finally the year that we're getting married!! It's just nice to say, that's all.
