587 Days to Go!

Hello kids!
We are 587 days away from our big day...I know, I know still a long ways away. I am just all about planning and the details. I want to be sure that we are not forgetting anything :)

We have found our invitations...and we found them at such a great price too. When I went to the store to find them, they are a pocket fold style. At the store, they are approximately $7.25 per invite...which would of worked out to approximately $906.25. But because I had my heart set on them, but I could not justify spending that much money on invitations. So, we then went on to this scrap booking store (where I did the invitation workshop back in November) and found a invite that was very similar to the ones we were looking at, to find out that it would cost us $1.00 per invitation...which would work out to approximately $125.00. Hmm...let's do the math here. That was quite exciting :)

So, next Monday we have an appointment with a photographer (studio67.com) and I absolutely love their work. It's taken some time for us to get our schedules to meet up, but the wait is over! We'll let you know how it goes.

Engagement Anniversary

Saturday March 20th, 2010 marked our 1 year anniversary of our engagement and we are 593 days until the wedding. WOW...time flies. I'm very excited about the process that we're at with the wedding at this time. We have booked our church (which was the first thing we booked) and the venue is booked and confirmed (finally) and our invitations have been picked and just have to be made (as that will be a part of my DIY project for the wedding). I'm looking forward to it, I want to get started already :)
There are tons of things that we have discussed as there are ideas constantly running through our minds, mostly mine :) More to follow...

Venue Picked!

Well well well...we had a very productive 'wedding weekend' which was exciting!! In fact, we finally picked our venue. It wasn't my first choice, and I'm not settling by any means. We go to this venue twice a year (for family Christmas party and NYE) and I just wanted to go somewhere different. But after going to all the different halls, we realized that they all offered the same thing, a tad difference in services.

The location that we decided on is...Michelangelos (http://www.michelangelos.com/). They offered us a great selection of food, and services I'm looking forward to it :).
