Wedding Show--Follow Up

Hello Boys and Girls!

Did we have a fun filled day at the wedding show today. My mom, soon to be mother in law, and cousin (who is also my MOH) came with me. We grabbed all the brochures, business cards, filled out ballots and talked to so many people about their services...it became a little over whelming. We ended up leaving just after lunch, and after spending about 2 hours there.

We got tons of ideas, and my mom and cousin are looking forward to getting things started, as am I. Again, I will start to look through all the wedding books, business cards and looking at their websites.

Went to the wedding show and, we're gonna plan a wedding!!

P.S. Did I mention that I love this whole idea of blogging about our wedding...it's great that I get to keep track of the status, and give updates, including dating all this information--helps me keep track :)

Happy New Year, and Welcome to 2010

Hello 2010!!

Well, the new year is here, and the holidays are behind us now. I'm glad actually, cause it was really hectic, and we haven't been too focused on the wedding. But, I did get a Cuttlebug for Christmas from the FH, (to make our wedding invites) which is so nice of him, sweet guy isn't he.

This weekend we are going to the National Bridal Show (http://www.canadasbridalshow.com/) well, me and the moms (FH is keeping my dad company while we go check the show out) and my MOH. I'm looking forward to going to this one, cause I went to the Hamilton one, and it was alright, this one will be a bigger one to go. Also, this will be my mom's first wedding show, and she's looking forward to it as well. There is another show this weekend as well at Bingemans (http://www.weddingdreamsshow.com/?gclid=CKSq-afOiZ8CFRh15QodZWM20w) thinking about going to that one on Sunday and make it an action packed wedding show filled weekend.

I need to get back into the wedding mode, not that it ever left, just in the back of my mind. And with this being the month that a lot of wedding shows are happening, no better timing. We will also be meeting with the venue location of choice to go over the details and pricing some time this month so we can get that decided, and checked off our "Wedding To Do List". Like I said in one of my previous postings, there were some questions and concerns that we had, and we were looking for some clarification on it.

So, now that we are in the new year, that also means that we are getting married next year...that's right, 671 days. I can't believe it! It's so exciting. It's time for us to get in tip top shape for the wedding, and bring everything together for it.
