So, we went to look at the venue we were thinking about choosing, but there are a bunch of questions and second guessing that we're having now. I guess it comes with the territory, but we will have to continue to look into it. I don't know. Maybe our expectations are too high?
To be continued...

First Blog of the Month
HAPPY DECEMBER!!
We are officially 700 days today from the big day! I can't believe it. Everything has been put on hold due to the holiday season. However, we are going to speak with a rep at the venue spot tomorrow, which I'm super duper excited about cause I have a tons of questions, and I'm so stoked about seeing this particular place...I've heard nothing but good things about it, which is wicked!!
Thought I would keep everyone posted and give them a progress report.
Till next time!!

Photographers...
So, I am starting the process of looking for photographers, and boy oh boy, are there lots to choose from. I have so many questions...where to begin...
I started with all of the contacts that I got from the wedding show, and their websites, got their email addresses and started there. When I went and checked out their website and their photos, I would try to imagine our wedding, and our photos, and try to decide weather or not it would be a good fit for us...and for what we are looking for in a photographer.
How did you decide on your photographer?

Invitation Workshop
I have signed up for a invitation workshop for the end of the month. They advertise that for all the DIY's brides out there can make your own invitations for as low as $1.00 per invite. It's a little more the the kits that you can purchase at Michaels and stuff, but you get what you want in the long run.
I'll be sure to post pictures of the invites that I come home with after the workshop.
I'm looking forward to it, and the best part of it, is that it's free!!

Invitation Workshop--Update
I had so much fun! I'm familiar with the whole scrap booking/card making process, but there are a lot of things that I'm new with using different types of tools, and techniques, and I learned some there.
At the beginning of the workshop, the instructor asked why we want to make our invitations; and then at the end of it, she asked how many of us are still going to make our own invitations. LOL!
Here are some pictures of the invites that we made. Hope you like!

Less Then 2 Years Away (724 days to be exact)
Well, this is my first blog--which I'm sure will be first of many...LOL. I like to express how I'm feeling, and how our progress is going on the wedding.
We are 724 days away from our wedding date, and at this time we are just putting the planning on hold until after the Christmas season. We will be back on track come the beginning of January (wedding show is happening).
